Lords of hell

The Prime Evils comprise the Three - the Demon Lord brothers and absolute rulers of Hell:

Al'Diabalos, the Lord of Terror, known more commonly as Diablo is the youngest of the three Prime Evils as well as the main antagonist of the Diablo game series, being its namesake. Amongst all demons known to humankind, he is considered the most powerful due to his ability to intill fear into the hearts of people with his name alone.

As the Lord of Terror, Diablo's greatest power lies within utilizing his enemies' fears, and due to his aspect he's also incapable of feeling fear himself. He rules over his demon servants through his sheer ability of terror, and to many he is the most terrifying being of all. Diablo is capable of taking on almost any shape, whatever suits him best at the time. It is unclear whether the forms of him we see in the games are his true appearance, or if he lacks a true appearance altogether, though he seems to favour his most known one. In terms of physical strength, Diablo is the strongest of the Three and as such the strongest known demon, although he prefers to avoid direct contact if it is possible and rather likes to work from behind the scenes. However he controls the powers of fire with ease, and can cast a powerful wave of red lightning that destroys almost everything in it's path. Not to mention literally rain hell down on his enemies if the situation calls for it. In Diablo 3, Diablo has the Black Soulstone within him which transformed him into the Prime Evil with the power of all the Seven Evils of Hell or to be more precise he became Tathamet reborn. With this power Diablo was able to defeat the Archangel of Valor, Imperius, in combat with relative ease and shattered the Diamond Gate with a roar. He subsequently corrupted the Crystal Arch, rendering all the angels of Heaven without power..

He was originally captured by the Horadrim in the deserts near the city of Lut Gholein, the same place in which Baal was captured. He was moved to Kurast and imprisoned inside a Soulstone, and was kept locked inside the Guardian Tower beneath the temple city of Travincal. His eventual corruption of the regional religious heads almost ensured his release, except he was eventually defeated by the pursuing adventurer. Being the Lord of Hatred, he is the most intensely evil brother, whose greatest weapon is his victim's irrational hatreds. Specializes in mid range lightning attacks and close range poison attacks.


[Kun administratorer har tilladelse til at se dette billede]Baal, the Lord of Destruction is the last brother in the storyline of the Diablo games to be vanquished, and also the middle brother. Was the only brother to escape the pursuing adventurer. He raised an army of demons and minions and attacked the barbarian homelands of the north, laying siege to the capital city, Sescheron, and finally besieging the last city, Harrogath. He was stopped by the pursuing adventurer and eventually defeated. Specializes long range ice attacks and creating Illusions of himself.


The Lesser Evils
The Lesser Evils are second only to the Three:

The Lesser Evils are a collective of powerful and influential Demon lords in the Burning Hells. They are "lesser" only in comparison to the three Prime Evils, who are their only superiors in the hierarchy of the Burning Hells.

[Kun administratorer har tilladelse til at se dette billede]Duriel, the Lord of Pain Twin brother of Andariel. Though Duriel had his part in the Dark Exile, he has once again aligned with the Three. Sent to guard Tal Rasha's Chamber. Specializes in heavy melee attacks and uses ice as an aura. Has the appearance of a giant bug. He is the second Great Evil to fall in the series and is the only one with no notable backstory other than his participation in the Dark Exile. His aspect is a representation of physical suffering. His other title is the Maggot King.


[Kun administratorer har tilladelse til at se dette billede]Andariel, the Maiden of Anguish Twin sister of Duriel. Sent to guard the Rogue Monastery by Diablo himself. Specializes in mid range poison attacks but ironically enough is weak against the element of fire. She is the only female member of the Seven and is the first to fall in the series. Her aspect is a representation of mental agony. Her other title is the Demon Queen.


[Kun administratorer har tilladelse til at se dette billede]Belial, the Lord of Lies One of the leaders of the rebellion against the Three. Brother and rival of Azmodan. Uses fire for both phases of his fight with heroes: on the 2nd phase, he'll dig his massive claws into the ground, breathe huge gusts of fel flame and make fiery eruptions. Possesses Emperor Hakan II during the Scouring of Caldeum.


[Kun administratorer har tilladelse til at se dette billede]Azmodan, the Lord of Sin is one of the leaders of the rebellion against the Three. Brother and rival of Belial. Throws fire boulders, summons demon gates to call upon minions, rains dead bodies upon enemies, and calls forth dark magic in a large area. Azmodan is said to be a brilliant tactician of the Demonic Army, and has almost defeated Archangel Tyrael and the Heavenly Host on many occasions. He is also the last Great Evil to be sealed in the Black Soulstone and is the most intellectually questionable since he deliberately tells the player what his plans are and where to find him, which is the complete opposite of what any reasonable strategist would do in war.
